I seem to get a stray cat every time one passes on. I know they are more artful than dogs.
One cannot have everything though.

Michael.....
I haven't had a pet for years, not since Pitiful died. The name "Pitiful" was given to her when my Son's wife brought home a feral kitten she found trying to get out of a basement window-well of an abandoned building. It was her kitty until my DIL died fairly young. Son came back to live with me and brought Pitiful with him. She was quite a cat during the years we spent together.

1 really understand her. My Mr. Graysome pussycat is 17 and I rescued him when he was a year old, a beautiful Russian blue with an enormous ego and spirit. I really want to outlive him for how would he know what had happened if he had to go back to a shelter. he is Graysome in charge here and is a very happy old Kitty and truly loved.
