I can't believe I missed this post. Palermo for me. John's grandparents came from Palermo, Sicily, Italy. 
They settled in Pennsylvania in the early 1900s. Antonio worked in the steel mill and Carmella was listed as a domestica on their marriage certificate. Happy New Year!
