I would think more and study up on people’s comments who have gutter guards. Some leaves and debris may lay on top of them and then needs to be removed. The screens may or may not be worth it. Your Thanksgiving planning sounds like such fun! I always went all out hosting in the past and it was great fun. Hope your foot heals up soon.

It can be expensive to have gutters cleaned so probably it would save in the long run to have guards fitted. My brother lives near to two Walnut trees and he has something to stop the downfall. He has already brought two bins filled with leaves down to me. I said put them on that bit off rough ground as they are not very suitable for composting.

Thankfully, I do not have to worry about Thanksgiving preparations this year. Our oldest daughter and her wife are handling the majority of it. It is chilly today. The weather report is calling for rain tomorrow. Our roof sprung a leak while we were at the hospital yesterday, so John is going to repair the leak today.
