Unless I take a vacation, I do not take a break from the writing process. Whether it's writing or editing, I'm doing something.
There are times when I miss due to other things in life. There are extended times where I am not writing when I am sick. Those do not feel like a break.

Contrary to you, I am not writing hardly at all now, and reading time consists of 15 minutes before falling to sleep each day. I miss doing both. I saw that photo of hiim in his new suit - a fine looking fellow he is!

Sometimes I try to quit writing, but it's a hard habit to break. And all these things come to mind that might be interesting and a nice change from politics... Have a great day!

I have done this all my life just like you. I write like mad for some time and then I need to read for several years until my head is full of stories just desperate to get out.

It is chilly in Pittsburgh today as well. We are looking forward to the Christmas tree light-up later this evening. I enjoy reading too. I understand that quality time well. Enjoy your day, and stay warm.
