We usually eat out for Thanksgiving but Jim wants to do it at home here for just the two of us. i don't mind but i imagine the clean up will take a bit of time.

We never have Thanksgiving. I suppose when it started, communication was pretty long in reaching anyone. I suppose everyone's history was about one's own Country. I wonder what will you do when your little dog wants to have puppies.😊

Your Thanksgiving day sounds like it will be a lot of fun. We used to make a turkey, but we all agree that we enjoy a spicy honey spiral ham with multiple side dishes. I agree with you on the pies. Store bought is perfectly fine. The girls all love pumpkin and chocolate cream pies. This Thanksgiving, our daughter-in-law is hosting the dinner at her and Jennifer's house. This works out well for me. We are also setting up a tree for Christmas. With the grandkids still being so young, we try to be as festive as possible during the holidays. Enjoy your day.
