Good Morning

FSI, I know it's tough to be sick on school breaks.

Horror of horrors. So sorry for you and the family on that one. We had a Christmas like that a time or two.

What a rotten time to spend your Easter break that year. You and Dad were really sick and one couldn't enjoy any of the Easter ceremonies or fun, or freedom from being at school.

Wow! You were just a baby when you endured so much pain. Thankfully, you pulled through it. During the Easter holiday in 1972, I had major surgery. Like you, I was sick as a dog. I was losing blood at a fast rate and passing out in between vomiting and bouts of diarrhea. I was rushed to the hospital and had a gas mask placed over my face that knocked me out to prepare me for the exploratory surgery I was about to undergo. The doctor removed my appendix, spleen, and finally, a large section of my small intestines while hunting for what was causing the unstoppable bleeding. He finally located a cyst on my intestines. Today, I find it unbelievable that something so small could cause so much injury to a body. Once home, I saw that the Easter bunny had delivered a basket full of candy, colorful eggs, and two live bunnies to my house. 🐰🐰

Something must have been going around, we don't want it there here.
