- Go to What An Amazing Trip This Would Be on One Very Iconic and Diverse Highway
Good Morning
Wow! This would be an amazing trip. I wonder if you would need a passport? I think I would want a motorhome for this trip so we could pull over and go to sleep when we were tired. I would hope the gas prices were down before we made our trip. On two occasions we took a conversion van and drove from Cleveland to Albuquerque and back again. We stopped every night in a hotel. We were on RT. 66 and the farther out west we went the more signs were up to get gas because it was a long way to the next gas station. I found Utah to be desolate. You could drive for 100 miles and not see anyone. There would be tumbleweeds though. We had several children with us and in the evening they would swim in the hotel pool.

If I was young and had a partner and three months to drive ....I think it would be a life changing experience.
