The best way if there is no assistance is I think to shuffle ones way to the nearest chair or tree and painfully haul yourself up. A good plan is to buy some ding dongers that one can press to alert anyone in the house that assistance is needed. Sadly swearing does not he🌺lp.

I am OK but I had two falls today. Jim had to help me up the second time I was flat on my back and has skinned my knee.
