I once slept on a feather mattress it was really soft and cozy.
Perhaps the geese were lost and were quizzing each other
if it was the right place to set up a home for awhile.

I guess Goosey was jealous and wanted grandma all to herself. A lovely remembrance. As for the Canadian Geese, well they probably had to find their mate and best friend and First cousins once removed before they could settle for the night!

Good afternoon
I love geese. I have a family of them that live next door at our boat club. They come to the fence and talk to me when they see treats in my hand. We also live near an animal park that has a pond filled with geese, ducks, and swans. They are friendly until you get too close to their nests. 🦆 🦢

Reading your entry makes me think of my sister. We used to feed ducks and swans at a local cemetery. They would come after my sister. She is afraid of them still to this day. She has added geese, for they are what she calls "big ducks."
