.....At our apartment complex the big recycle bin was taken away because people refused to comply with the instructions on the side of the container. Some of them just used it for garbage.

Ignorance, laziness, and a lack of caring about the planet are a few of the reasons that come to mind as to why people are still doing this.

Laziness mainly and what harm can the few bags I put into the recycling do? attitude doesn't help at all.Y' know, when I was a little girl, there was no plastic!

It is just laziness why not put the bag in the waste bin or take it home for disposal
I read here last week a group, of litter pickups just in one area picked up nearly a
thousand crisp packets. Some were ages old/
