I did not realize how big eclipses were to people so much so that they would travel to one...As for me, I was at work when it happened and got to see it that way.

Good Morning
We watched the Eclipse from our backyard and it was awesome. It was quite a sight to see.

It was great to see on tv! Very primal and spiritual.

Good afternoon
I posted some pics on my Pennsylvania blog post and on my Facebook. We live 4 hours from Erie, but I still was able to get a few good photos. It didn't get completely dark, but it became gloomy and chilly for about 10 minutes. We wore the protective glasses.

I think it's very interesting, and like you, I'm not going out to stare up at the eclipse through those special glasses. I am hoping to see some interesting projections as shadows of leaves in the eclipsing sunlight turn into crescents - not the shape of the leaves. Trouble is, not many trees are leafed out yet around here. Have a great day, Taps!

if i had children living with me I would probably have driven somewhere to see it, but it has come and gone from here and we didn't notice even a partial eclipse.
