It reads like a wonderful country shindig as we used to say, but oysters aren't for everyone if they never had them before. I love them but I grew up with sea fish and everything else from the sea. I don't know about this.

Sounds like some family gatherings I've been to for my son's in-laws many years ago. They had a few different musical instruments and a boatload of old songs. Thanks for this story and the reminder of those joyful times.
