Re:

FSI, I absolutely never remember hearing the word milieu.  I couldn't believe it.  At least you have heard the word before.  Thank you so much for sharing that with me.  I've been writing for a very long time and that word has never crossed my path.  I just can't believe it.

Kabu, thank you for all of your advice.  I really appreciate it and hope that I can follow everything I learn in class.

Sherri, I hope you had a wonderful day.  It was really nice here.  It's nice to see the sunshine.

I haven't heard the word milieu in a long time. I last heard it probably probably back in sophomore year of high school during 2001-02.

Advice from a writer who just loves you. Don't use words people don't normally use, especially for children's books; unless it is a magical name of some place. I wouldn't know that word either. But google modern names because children may be using different smaller words that are in vogue.

Don't get off track while in class. Carefully follow all the advice, you don't have to use it, but NO it won't be a sit around and chat class. lots of people are very keen to seriously write.

Your stories are amazing

They will enjoy your many animal tales. It is sunny and warm here today too. I am planning on eating outside this afternoon. Spring is in the air and that is fine by me. 🌷

Goldiec, they will love you. Don't even worry about that. Just glean what you can from the class and use any tools they offer that you haven't used before. You are good at the teaching/learning aspects of writing & working with others.
