My Dad loved biscuits and he often made the same comment but he was from Oklahoma. One other of his famous sayings: when there were too many women around and they were grabbing away, he would growl loudly: "Ho Hum, Crap" and go for a long walk.

My Dad used to say the same sometimes when we had a lamb roast with baked potatoes etc and gravy; and scones...nearly like your biscuits.
