When I was a kid, we played the card game "Authors" a lot.  We had a lot of fun with it and because of it looked up at the library their writings and read them all.   My Dad liked "Song of Hiawatha" so much that he paid me $5.00 to memorize it and quote it to him.  That was a lot of money in those days.

Despite living in the Baltimore Area, I have never been to Poe's grave. I have to do that one of these days.

My dad just so happens to be born on January 19th. Edgar is a bit older, though.
