Re: Amanda
I used to hear the factory nearby it was a deafening sound. The women were supposed to
hear one another over the sound. goodness knows what happened to their hearing in later life. I am glad you have a remedy, but I am whispering this anyway.🌺🌺

Thanks for sharing that. Life is so mysterious.
I think you are an amazing example of how we can overcome obstacles in our lives.

I feel for you. I also have extremely acute hearing. Going to the movies is painful to my ears so I avoid it. Â At work I would hear conversations from a distance thatvI really would rather not have heard. I tested out many years ago with hearing way beyond what is normal. I truly get what you are saying.Â

Re:
Pat,
The opposite problem has its challenges as well. I hope you have hearing aids that work for you. I'm glad we've become friends. Happy New Year!

Opposite problem: I am hard of hearing, have needed hearing aids for the past 7 or 8 hears. This may have been caused from working in a print shop - I ran a very loud printing press for several years. It didn't occur to me to wear earplugs. I hope you're able to contain 99% of the sounds around you at a comfortable level.Â
