Y'know I was a sickly child and then almost died at 15 and had to have a big operation....actually all operations were big back then. Then I had cancer at 49 and had my R breast and lymph nodes removed from under that arm. I wondered then if I would die young. But No. I am still here and going well, while my friends died mostly from cancer that I had survived. There doesn't seem to be any pattern I can understand.

I too wonder that my friend. As I will be 76 in January I have lost so many of my dear friends. When I actually thought I'd go before them.

It is the privilege that brings a lump to my throat. So many of my closest friends died very young, and sometimes I wonder why am I still here.
