Glad to read this article. I have to admit that I am one who is affected by the use of bad grammar. Gulp.

I for one am the queen of bad grammar.

It derives from living in one too many different states in my young life.

I try very hard not to talk on my phone here in the USA. I have never lost my Australian accent and people can't understand what I am saying on the phone. Some don't even in person.

Well, now that is interesting. I know hearing someone use poor

grammar because they ain't had no fetchin' up bugs me unless I know they are playing with the words. Didn't know it actually affected heart rates or stress levels.
