Cold here. 34F right now. Was below freezing this am. Jim is asleep in front of football as usual for Saturday and I am cosied close to him writing here.

I don't like putting away groceries either., I have to admit I'm a bit lazy with it. I'll put the things that need to go in the fridge and pull out the things as I need them throughout the week.

I've talked the guy who mows my yard all summer into
tending to my leaves once they've all fallen. The way the wind works here, it blows the
neighbor's oak leaves over the roof of their house and into my yard, so even though
it blows some of my maple leaves away, it brings even more right back to me. In years past it was a pleasant afternoon's job to rake and tuck the leaves into yard waste bags, but I'm not as young as I used to be, and I wear out in 15 minutes these days. Thank heavens for Cornelius and his willingness to take on the job.
