It is a very beautiful and meaningful hymn and worth singing well.  He must have had a high standard for the singing of it.

FSI, I think he should have given extra credit at some point because he was the one who said he would give extra credit. Sometimes I don't understand teachers. I think if they say something they should do it.

That was not only tough; but mean. None of you i am sure were professional singers and I feel sure if not one class performed to his standard, it was his fault. he was the teacher.

Boy, he is tough. You would have thought that there would have been an extra credit for the students making the attempt. Hard work deserves some type of acknowledgment.
