We all love you just the way you are. I may fall into that average person category coz I can't talk much except when it comes lecturing in the classroom. You're indeed placed at a much higher rung than 'average', 😆 LOL!

I'm not sure who came up with those statistics but it was supposed to be a group of scientists. I just got interested because it does seem that I use the I, Me, My, Mine words way to often.

Perhaps the kind of white lies (like "No, No you are definitely not ugly") are included in the 100 per day. I do not at all worry about them. I love it when they are headed my way.

No, you are not the average person, I have
come to like you over the years. I was a bit wary when I first saw you with boxing
gloves. However, I did a bit of boxing myself so I can not criticize. Also, when
Ribcage came, and you wondered if you could get on together. I am sure he had
happier years with your company. Chin up.

Good morning
You are anything but an average person. I believe that we are all somewhat guilty of the I, me, my, and mine when speaking out loud. As for lying, I can't imagine anyone telling more than 100 lies per day. Of course, I have always been a blunt person who speaks her mind freely with no need to tell whoppers. I only lie when it is a white lie or if the words will be hurtful.

Not only what Sea Gypsy said, which was right on point, but you
are not an average person. You worked as a night nurse for decades, a job that calls for above average attention, a strong concern for others, ... I could go on and on, but you know how nurses are - their prime focus is on the well-being of others. That you even worry about being selfish is a clue. Just keep on being you.

Oops! Guilty!
Perhaps the "rules" are different for blogging. After all, one does blog about oneself in a blog at times. Anyway, who conducts these studies? I don't think you overemphasize yourself at all in any of your blogs. How can we know what you're doing if you don't mention yourself?
