I am just about all travelled out although there are so many parts of this country I wouldn't mind visiting. I am with you about a cabin or holiday apartment.

Travel these days does not appeal to me, but when the kids were young
we saw the whole western half of the country - campground to campground - the national parks, the mountains, the ocean. I hope your choice brings you happy days, whichever you decide.

Good afternoon
KOA has some inexpensive cabins. We used to take the girls there when they were younger. It appears that we are all doing upgrades on our homes. I'm glad to hear that yours is working out as expected. Have a wonderful day.
