P.D. is one of the good guys. The trouble is one can not find an easy answer.

Renovation is hard work, and it will not get easier. I hope the tree will provide fuel.

In any case, it is not good to have large trees next to a property and I don't know

about this in your or PD,s neck of the woods, but here they always stop folk from

cutting trees down.

Fortunately, it sounds like P.D. has the temperment to handle anything that comes his way.

Hi, a great way to face adverse situations, which are mostly beyond our control... facing them & finding a solution....

God bless them always 🙏🏻

Re: Kabu

I have trouble trying to explain this, but it is the same type of set up that Amanda has.  Only Amanda has full education and training and know how to manage her own affairs.  On the other hand Phil needs total care so Phil's $$ goes to his Dad to take care of Phil's needs.  It is to be used totally for Phil and what he needs, so P.D. has to manage for his own life in a different way.  He is a very good manager so he has never had any trouble earning a living.  He turns 60 next month and has health problems of that age like high blood pressure, etc. you know them all, so he can't help thinking about what will happen to Phil if something happens to him.  He knows I won't be around to take over.   But, that the way of life for many.

Good afternoon

Rehabbing homes is a really cool hobby to have. That's great that he took that kind of setback so well. A tree lunging through the house couldn't be a cheap fix. I have a feeling that he will recover from this since he is used to repairs on old homes. I wish them the best of luck.

How aweful about the tree but at least if they do move into this house the tree is already gone. Does he get Government help for caring for his Boy?? I wonder. He would in Australia and Canada.
