Good afternoon
You're most definitely correct about him being too young to have served in Vietnam. My dad served in the Army during the Vietnam War, and if he were alive today he would be 80. Too many people lie about serving in the military, and I am not sure why they feel the need to do that. In some cases, people have been brought down for saying that they served.
