Well, it is not very hot here but was have had a northeast wind blowing for a good

many days and the ground is parched. I am trying fans in case we get a hot summer.

Ever tried growing melons. I thought I would now we are experiencing a hotter

climate. Not as though I like them terribly, I suppose banana trees would not survive

the present winter, but I expect in time they will.

Good morning

This is a sweet memory. I cannot imagine a life without pillows or throws accenting indoor and outdoor furniture. It makes for a cozy place to sit, relax, and enjoy.

Good Morning

Kabu, I loved this memory!  Thank you for sharing it.  I cannot stand to be hot and sweaty.  That's why we went to all the trouble and expense to have the kitchen rewired so we could add another air conditioner in the kitchen.  It's 10,000 BTU and it's going to be perfect for our kitchen.  When we lived in Arkansas for 5 years there were times when it would be 110 in the shade.  Thankfully we had air conditioning.  My boys were little at the time.

How interesting.   I've always intensely disliked being hot and sweaty and did anything I could think of to cool myself down.

I am with you.   I have no desire for heat.  A comfy chair won't fit in my crawl space.  So far my new friend portable ac is keeping me in cool I want to be accustom,.
