Good afternoon
Those are some wonderful memories. For whatever reason, music teachers seem to have wonderful personalities, and they are usually liked well by their students. I remember my music teacher Mr. Lind from 8th grade. I didn't play an instrument in junior high, but I was in the choir and he made the class fun.

Our music teacher/band leader/choir leader, Mr. Schmidt, was a great fellow even though he had an artificial arm, which in those days was a carved wooden or plaster one. It didn't hamper him at all. He could really make one sing.
