I am still feeling envious of your air conditioner.  We are going to try fans this

summer, if that does not work we shall have to think again. Of course, in the past,

we rarely had enough hot days to warrant any such action.

I myself love to have a fan run when I sleep. That helps me get to sleep. I got that from my father as did my sister. My mother did, too.

In Canada we had a big community of Amish people living near us. They opened a bit furniture store just down the road from us. I had to buy something. I bought two little tables. One lives beside Jim's chair here in the 4 seasons room and one next to my chair. The one Jim uses also has a lamp built into it. Oh and I bought a wee stool as well, it is in the bedroom so it is easy for Graysome to get up onto the bed. At 15 he finds it is a bit difficult to jump. Tiny pieces because the prices were very high.

Good morning

I love visiting the Amish country. It is so beautiful and they have so many delicious foods to try. We haven't turned on our air conditioners yet even though it has been in the 80s this week. I don't like sleeping with the air on at all. I wake up stuffy from the forced air. I do run the one in the kitchen though, especially when I am cooking or baking. It looks like you have many fun events coming your way. Have a wonderful day.

Re: So much going on this end of May/beginning of June - tis the season for

Pat, thank you so much.  We made it through Memorial Day weekend and that was perfect.  Cyrus's birthday and Landon's birthday were nice and now we have graduation on Friday.  I hope that goes well.

So much going on this end of May/beginning of June - tis the season for

graduations, weddings and vacation planning -- all sorts of new beginnings. I hope your events all go just as you planned them.
