Good Evening
Today I had my grandson weed-eating and cleaning up the flowerbeds. He did a really nice job. The yard looks beautiful. It's warm here this evening. I think we got the air conditioners put in just in time. I hope you have a good evening.

I hope you enjoy the whole weekend. My daughter's visiting here
from Florida - her two older brothers live here in town, so we'll be spending some time together - always a joy for me to have my kids around.

The origin of jugger is also interesting: It was invented in Germany for a movie. The movie is largely forgotten, but the invented sport took on a life of its own!

In fact, he does pretty well these days. He's on an actual team and has a jersey with name and number. For a kid who never did sports during school, he's having quite a grand time with it.

I looked this up and it sounds like a lot of fun:
The goal of the game is to collect the ball (a.k.a. "skull" or "jugg") from the centre of the field and place it in a goal ("mal", "mound") at the opposite end of the field from where one's team starts. Teams are composed of 5 players, of which one is allowed to touch and carry the ball. This player is known as the qwik or runner. The remaining four, known as enforcers or pompfers, are equipped with padded swords or a foam ball on the end of a rope. These four make room for their runner to get to the goal by tagging players from the opposing team. The runners can engage in rugby-style wrestling
