That sounds like heaven compared to what is going on here. The last time I was in the hospital right after Ribcage passed away I vowed I would never go to the hospital again, that I would rather pass away at home. Of course one never knows what might happen to change one's mind. Broken bones are no fun.

1. They need to be paid much more.
2 they need 4 weeks paid leave a year.
3. They need 6 days paid sick leave a year.
7. hospitals need to close off wards and beds if terribly understaffed.
8. Rn's need to have to do less desk work and more hands on work
That would bring the USA closer to what some other countries are doing.

I also was introduced to suicide in a shocking and sad way. My only brother at age 25 bought a gun to specifically shoot himself. After he got out of the Air Force he couldn't get readjusted to normal life, had a continuing back injury that made it painful and difficult to work. He never told anyone the state he was in so it was totally shocking to my whole family, especially my Mom and Dad.

Good morning
Thank you for the reminder. Mental health awareness is never far from my mind due to my father committing suicide when I was 15. There was no note left behind, and by most accounts, everyone that knew him claimed that he was always happy. I have since heard that "happy" people tend to hide their sadness and depression behind a smile.
