That is really scary about the cell phone. I never knew that could happen. I am so happy it hasn't hurt anyone. You are blessed with all your family around you and how much the young ones love doing things with you.

Good afternoon
I had no idea that cell phones could explode. That had to be a scary situation. It's a good thing that your grandson was there. We just got new cell phones courtesy of our oldest daughter. She gives us her old ones when they order their new ones. Each upgrade takes us a while to get used to. I am not a fan of technology at all.

I didn't realize cell phones could explode... one more reason not to get
one. I grew up with no phone at all. I loved hiking the trails in the woodlands and along the creek, being "in the moment" and very much alive. I feel sorry for those folks I see on their morning walks around here, cell phone in hand, head down, not feeling the air, not hearing the birds, not conscious of the world around them. I know I need to get with the program...

It's a good thing the problem with the phone was noticed! I have never had it happen to someone I know, but have read about them exploding and causing fires. My DIL makes dishes with seaweed and I have come to really enjoy them. I am happy you liked the Japanese buffet. Their food choices seem to be healthier than ours here in North America.
