So...where is all the money going? The famlies pay the landlords who pay the bank who puts the money where?

I believe paying rent and paying way more for everything is just too much for some families. I knew people, lots of them in Australia who used to always have every card maxed out and one couple he went bankrupt and then she did.

The trouble here is some so called Landlords let houses and now find they have to pay nearly as much for the loan etc. Of course they try to put the rent up and that is the start of a downhill trend,

Good evening

That's a shame. I remember apartment living back in the 80s. The rent was affordable. Everyone was friendly and there were plenty of amenities. The last time that I lived in an apartment was in Virginia Beach. We lived near the beach and the base. It was a fun time in my life. After having a baby, we quickly outgrew our apartment and relocated to a house. It's ridiculous how much they charge these days for rent. In Pittsburgh, I have seen rentals for $2,500 a month. With the first, last, and security deposit, that is a hefty amount to come up with just to move in.
