That is tough when one is the last one in the group. When my paternal grandfather died (he was the last of his siblings), someone cried out, "They're all gone," at his funeral.

It is painful to lose people, but we don't get to choose who stays and who goes. It's my thought that if one is still here, it's because whatever they are here to do has not yet been completed. Sending big hugs to you both too.

Give Nila a hug from me and feel one for yourself as well as I wrap my arms abround you both. I lost most all of my friends when we were in our sixties, one in our fifties.
