Good afternoon
Mom's cooking and a familiar bed are two great reasons to not spend the night elsewhere when you live in a happy environment, but I couldn't wait to go on overnight field trips. For one thing, my mom didn't cook much, and my home life was not an enjoyable one by any means.

For one who loved family outings and trips and nature, especially family outings when our sons were all at home, I am now so thankful to have a home and to be at home and sleep at home. Tenting in the wilds was loved back then, but now only in memory and old photos.
