Except for the salad greens, this is a gloomy post. LOL
I cooked some beet greens while ago and they taste so good....best part of the beets.

Good Morning
I love salad greens. I think making a salad is one of the best things we can do for our health. There are a lot of vitamins in salad greens. I hope you rest your leg and it starts to feel better. I think a nice cup of tea would be a good thing on a day like this. I'm amazed at what you get done in a day.

Good afternoon
I love mixed salad greens. Arugula and spinach are two of my favorites. I was taking steroid meds back in 2007 for adult-onset asthma that luckily for me has dissipated. You're right though, we all have afflictions that affect our hunger pangs, although I do watch my calorie intake these days. Smoothies are a great snack that doesn't pack on the pounds. I make fruit smoothies when I crave sweets, and I make a serious green smoothie when I need to do a clean out and body reset.

Busy as you are in the garden as well as out and about among people
you'll be exposed to all kinds of contagion. The good news is you eat right and stay active, so your immune system will throw off most of that. Doesn't protect you from injuring yourself lifting something heavy, though. Hope it's better quickly.
