I don't think I have ever had potatoes and cabbage mashed together. We rarely eat potatoes my brother says they are fattening and he is the cook. I suppose it would be O.K. with plenty of butter, but he uses olive oil. Have what you fancy is my motto.

Yes, I imagine it is. I still enjoy remembering the memory and love story of my mom's parents.

Like my Mum and Dad. Theirs was a wonderful love story as well.Wiley hated St. Patrick's day for the reason he used to get terribly drunk when he was drinking. Then he had to fight the urge for many years and then he hated even to be reminded about it for it had meant so much self pity and suffering for him. God bless his beautiful brave heart.
