Could you not just dop the orchid into a pot that has a hole and stand it on a stone. I wonder what your wandering pet was looking for. A good job the cat did not notice.

It feels like it could snow here, but partly sunny - the TV says the temp
is 40-something, but that wind is piercing. I had to laugh at the though of Caliban getting all splotchy... I think maybe I do that under stress as well. I had thought of tying up the small remainder yarn balls so they can't be unrolled and offering them as cat toys at the spring yard sale. Nice to read that your kitty likes hers.

horrible here today with overcast cold freezing point weather. The humid ity and mist will keep those orchards blooming.
