I don't think many realize hope poor the majority of folk were. I did see a little girl once her coat was a meal sack one could read the contents.

Re: Thanks. I found it to be quite fascinating.
I love running around barefoot. I wish that it was more socially acceptable, but most establishments frown upon it. Maybe this is why I love flip-flops so much. That is about as close as you can get to barefoot and still being allowed to dine and shop indoors.
