I was a teenager, but I can remember the colors of our kitchen so clearly. Harvest gold countertops, avocado green and gold appliances, dishes, and orange and brown accessories. A yellow rotary phone hung on the wall with a 25-foot cord that was stretched out by me trying to talk with friends out of my parent's earshot.

Some of these things have become collectors items and bring big prices. I was a young married woman with kids back then. We redecorated the Kitchen in a bright Green, Cupboards, draws and bench tops and I just had to have a multi colored kitchen carpet on the floor!!!
