Which show are you watching?
The thing that exasperates me is hearing that a show I was intending to watch has had its future seasons cancelled. Why even start when the story will be incomplete?

Would you believe that shortly after we married, we bought our first house, a two story, three-bedroom house for $10,000, paid half to begin with and had the rest paid of in a few short years. Not too long ago I found in the computer that house being sold again with a few changes for sale for $200,000. That's what time does.

Today is President's day and most / many businesses are taking the
time off for the holiday. I know you're frustrated. But one day soon your kitchen will be just what you wanted.
It always surprises me to see news about the weather in Australia even though I've known it's opposite the USA's "forever." It always seems the strangest at Christmas time. The states' traditional cards & decorations include scenes with horse-drawn sleighs being pulled through snowpacked country lanes. Of course all that is from the distant past - it's more likely these days to be a scene where drivers are backed up behind snowplows on jam-packed highways or giant semi-trucks jacknifed on a slippery curve. Odd to think of heat waves and days at the beach at Christmas unless one has been lucky enough to grow up "down under."
