Watching both games yesterday with my menfolk wore me out. But I liked the way they ended. With Sherri_G in Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh and me in KC with the CHIEFS, it makes the Superbowl seem like a special bit of Blogit competition, like the special brother competition between the players: Jason & Travis Kelce.

The Chiefs pulled through a nailbiter at the end. Definitely the more exciting and better of the two games.

Football here, while crocheting a hat. A friend gave me a shopping bag
full of yarn she'd gotten from someone who was cleaning out their inventory. I looked at some of the labels on "new" skeins. One was from a Venture store that closed in the late '80s, and another from a Kmart that shut down 15 years ago. Two shades of pink. It's not just needlework, it's history.
