Re: Good morning

He never sunk a sub. Students were saying it was his own sub that he sank as a prank.

Jim's father was a sailor on a sub. during the second world war. It was called the USS Paddle... I think she was pretty old but I tell Jim his Dad was a hero to be at war on an old sub like this one evidently was.

FSI, I had no idea it was so hard to get into the Navel Academy.  If you manage to get in it is quite a privilege and honor.  I'm not sure about the sub-sinker story.  I hope you have a nice Sunday!

Surprising what teachers did or have done if one can believe it.

Good morning

As a wife of a Navy veteran, I can tell you that the Naval Academy is a pretty big deal as is military warfare. I'm not sure if Hopps is his real name when he served, or if he did in fact sink a sub, but it happened during WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Military personnel and military veterans can get into big trouble for lying about their service and events that took place during their time of being enlisted. It's quite simple to clear up the mystery. Just ask him the name of the sub that he helped sink.
