I think a dog-friendly restaurant is a great idea. I'd have no problem with
it as long as the four-leggeds were sociable.

I owned a country bar for a couple of years, and I let clients bring their dogs in with them as long as the pups were well behaved. I had 3 of my own at the time, 2 of which would wander around and enjoy pat and cuddles. My Bouvier, the watch dog, would sit on a stool behind the bar with me, watching over it all. No one, drunk or sober, ever tried to come behind the bar when he was there, and a couple of the noisier clients even asked permission before standing up to go to the toilet, he was eyeing them that closely, LOL!
