He really did like living here with so much nature around us. Often he would go across the road and sit on a bench by the lake and visit with the old fishermen, or sit on our porch and just enjoy the huge oak that was his favorite tree.

That is wonderful that you made a home of the place where he wished he could live. It gives one faith that anything can be attained if you want it badly enough.

I remember when you moved into the flat. You did wonder if you would be
compatible. Over the years you were, and I for one was sad when the inevitable
happened. We have to adjust as we plod along, so take care and I hope the power
supply is more user friendly in future
