Actually, the older I got, the shorter the tree I trimmed. Now I opt for setting up a little Nativity scene, a blinking globe light that flashes on the wall and ceiling, and a wreath fo the door and a poinsettia on the table. No one seems to care for they all have wonderfully decorated trees at their homes. Sometimes I think that some of them envy my simplicity and ease of decorating, especially when it is time to take everything down.
