I never understand why a little bit of power goes straight to a person's head and they become a monster.

I enjoyed being the Demo Granny at a big chain grocery store in
Salem, Oregon maybe 20 years ago. I was selling pizza at one time, with a hot little oven on the table. In Salem there are a lot of families from Mexico who work the harvests, and moms with their little kids would shop there. I learned the Spanish word for "hot" from one of them so I could warn impulsive little guys from grabbing a bite right off the hot surface. Sold a lot of pizza and got a lot of happy grins from those children. I hope you got some fun out of your experience too.

Good morning
Years ago I did those food demos in our local grocery stores. It's great pay and gives you a chance to meet people. As for your landlord, I would not be signing a new lease in the future so long as she is at the wheel. The best of luck to you when dealing with that bearcat.
