Thank you both xx. In the event, it was ok. He said it was all forgotten. Still no room out there but I’m going to ignore it.. there are other niggles now to deal with. For me this more about understanding myself and trying to work out how to deal with it all, and why I don‘t say how I feel. My ex has cast a very long shadow.
Prayer definitely helps me stay calm Taps .. wouldn’t cope otherwise.. thank you

I could say so much here but none of it would be helpful and i would feel a hypocrit anyway for i hate confront

I don't have an answer to your problems, but when I have problems I tell them to the Lord and ask for help. After that I feel much better about whatever was irking me and making me so unhappy. It always helps even if the other person doesn't change.
