When Enron failed, because of the investments in my retirement
fund, my life savings dropped by a third. Let's just admit that as a 60-something woman who'd only been able to set up a retirement account in her early fifties, a third of my investment was less than six month's pay. These days I try to ignore the stock market, knowing it will even out over a few years' time. With any luck at all, the selfish interests of the devious billionaires who control it all will have a little payoff for us, too.

Good afternoon
Having a financial advisor is smart, and even though they do not have a crystal ball, they do have experience and they keep up with the current trends.
