Thank you for this. I think a lot more about this subject than I used to. Even as a nurse I didn't think a whole lot about it as hospitals and nursing centers rehab places are all made for easy coming and going with wheelchars. Now that I am older, I am very aware that if I should become wheel chair bound that I will definitely have to move from here because of the way it is built and no access at all for wheel chairs or safety measures of any kind.
