That is wonderful how your city celebrates and honors our Vets. It sounds very cold there. Not that far from here our ski lifts have opened! Stay warm.

Years ago in the early 1990's my Dad was in a very large Health Care and Rehabilitation Center due to his Alzheimer's disability. I was with him a lot and my favorite time of being there was on Veterans' Day. They brought all of the Veterans into the very large dining room in their wheel chairs and had remembrances and patriotic music but what they loved the most was they each had a can of beer for celebration, camaraderie and remembering.

Good afternoon
Happy Veterans Day! The area that we live in does a lot for veterans too. The free meals and coffee are wonderful. It's not raining here, but it is cloudy. John and I are planning on a night out, so I don't have to worry about cooking dinner or making lunch for tomorrow since it's Friday. Once home, we will continue watching the Mayor of Kingstown series. We have also been catching up on Unsolved Mysteries. Stay warm and enjoy your movies.
