Kabu, I hope that you, Jim, and Mr. Graysome stay warm on these chilly days. It's very chilly here today and it's going to rain throughout the day. We are expecting snow this weekend. I'm so glad I have my new heated blanket. It keeps me toasty warm at night. When I look outside everything looks so dreary. The trees are bare and now with the rain, we've got huge puddles of water in the yard. Our ditch is filling up but it always does when it rains a lot. I hope you have a wonderful day. Enjoy your movies.

LOL about the ages of your parents. My paternal grandmother and grandfather were in that range having been born in 1913 and 1916, respectively.

Good morning
Its a shame that you don't have a picture of your mother and that pony cart. I have often wondered what people from a different century would think about our world today. Everything moves too fast to keep up with, making it hard for older people to adjust. I much prefererred the simpler times over the world that we are living in today.

Stay cozy - I see by the weather map that your town is receiving the
first blast of winter on its way to my town. I went to the store and bought a couple skeins of yarn in case I'm housebound by the chill. I don't intend to get out there and rake up that last pile of leaves if it means risking frostbite.

I hope you get warmed up there. It's pretty chilly here and I don't like the cold. Himself's one grandparent was born in 1860 - before the Civil War!
